This is another one those inexpensive Chinese fountain pens made by Jinhao. However this one does not disappoint, if you prepared to do about a minute of work on the nib,that is. The pen looks very professional and has a hooded fine nib, which looks like writing with a needle. The only problem that I experienced with this pen is that when it came in the post it was very dry that it would barley write! after a few minutes of making it wetter the nib was wonderful! It now keeps up with the fastest of writing that I ever use.

The Design

My pen comes in what is termed as a white pearl design. This is basically a white pen with a three stripe swirl. this deign is very nicely complemented with the gold trim of this small pen. One of the nicest parts of the pen is the clip.When you use the spring loaded clip the whole assembly moves. This pen would be perfect for people with small hands as the diameter of the pen is quite small and for me can cause craps after a good half hour or so of solid writing. 

The Nib

There is not much to say about the design of the nib as it is hooded ,but what I will say is that it has a very slim profile and comes to very thin point. Which always makes me think that I am writing with a needle!

The nib can preform however like I mentioned it will need work out of the package. The other thing is that it has a very specific sweet spot to write in otherwise it will be very scratchy,due to the fineness of the point. The nib is made of stainless steel and therefore it does not have much flex (which is not helped by the hooded section),but you will be able to squeeze a bit out, however be careful as the nib material is very soft and the nib can be easily sprung.

The Section

the section is made of a grey plastic with circular ribs cut around the section. This makes for a secure grip and a comfortable hold. Your hands will not slip and you can just keep on writing. The section is also plenty long so yo can have lots of space to hold.
